| Wisdom of the Horse Week 4-8 October 2010 at Quinta do Colaço, Vale de Prazeres, Portugal During the Wisdom of the Horse Week you will get 5 days of horses, fun and learning in a relaxed in environment. Maaike and Charmaine are both graduates of the 'HEAL' Facilitator Training Programme and are delighted to offer you this 5 day experiential horse holiday in Portugal. During this 5 day experience you will gain many new tools and skills that will return home with you. Learning new ways to be with the horses, deepening your connection and sensitivity. This week is sure to be different to any riding holiday/workshop you will have ever been on! Throughout your time here the focus is on learning about the horse - human relationship and experiencing what it feels like to connect deeply. The first few days will be spent connecting from the ground, incorporating fun and effective ways of being around the horses. The end of the week is for exploring the surrounding countryside with the horses we have been getting to know over the first few days. The trail rides will go through the beautiful and peaceful Portuguese countryside. The rides are always an adventure because of the ever changing landscape and the freedom to ride where ever you want to go.
